With age verification you can quickly check if a customer is over 18 years old. Using data verified by Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, an immediate response "under 18 / over 18" is possible without providing additional private information.

Application Example

With this use case, for example, the self-service checkout process in the Coop/in the Migros/in the AVEC Box could be fully automated. Personal age checks when buying alcohol/tobacco goods would not be necessary when paying with a credit/debit card.
